Grind and Seal is a pretty straightforward process with short downtime. Almost any structurally sound concrete floor can be ground and sealed, whether new or old. There are a few exceptions for new concrete floors, where the slab should be in place for at least 28 days to ensure the concrete mixture has appropriately dried.
We start by grinding the concrete floor with our concrete grinder to remove old coatings, dirt, oil, grime, and stains and bring the concrete back to a clean slab.
We fill in any cracks and holes that have been exposed during the grinding process. Afterwards, we clean the surface from any dirt and dust and let it dry.
Two clear epoxy coatings are applied to protect and shine the concrete floor with the choice of a matte, semi-gloss, or high-gloss finish. The concrete sealer makes the concrete surface impervious to liquids and bacteria and increases durability.
