Every other floor gets a covering. The garage keeps the slab it was poured with, and then takes more abuse than anywhere else in the building: cars, tools, storage, and in a lot of Goodyear homes a gym or a workbench as well. Every Phoenix job starts from the slab the garage was poured with, then builds up from there.
Concrete handles the weight without trouble. What it does not handle is being a finished surface. It is porous, so oil and fluids sink in and stain permanently, and the top layer keeps wearing away into dust that gets onto everything stored there.
Coating it fixes the surface rather than hiding it. Dialed In Epoxy grinds the concrete open, repairs the cracks, and bonds resin into it, so what you end up with is a sealed floor that cleans instead of absorbing.

One of the two finishes is chosen for looks, and this is it.
Metallic pigment is carried in a clear coat and worked while it cures, so the color moves and settles unevenly on purpose. Finished, it can resemble marble, granite, wood grain, flowing water or natural stone.
The movement is never repeated exactly, so every floor is different. Colors can be mixed to match branding or an interior, which is why this finish suits showrooms and display garages.
The other finish is the one built for use.
Flakes are broadcast into the base coat, scraped back once set, and then covered by two coats of UV stable polyaspartic. Those layers are what stand between daily use and the concrete underneath.
Texture from the flake bed keeps the floor from going slick when wet. It resists chemicals, carries heavy foot traffic and light vehicle traffic, and is the same specification we install in commercial garages and engine performance workshops.
Looking after it takes a damp mop and mild detergent, with no waxing or stripping involved. It is moisture resistant and UV stable, so it works outside on a driveway, patio or pool deck too. Those exposed areas are specified differently, which is covered on epoxy flooring for Goodyear patios and driveways.
Cured hard and laid thick, the system takes vehicle weight, foot traffic and dropped equipment without chipping or wearing through. Moisture, dust, dirt, grime, tire pick-ups and garage chemicals all stay on the surface.
Anything outside takes a different resin entirely, which is covered on concrete coatings for Goodyear driveways and patios.
Because the floor is sealed, dirt has nothing to sink into and comes up with a damp mop and mild detergent. A regular schedule keeps a Goodyear garage floor looking new for longer.
The two finishing coats are 100% UV stable, so direct sunlight does not discolor them. The base coats form a waterproof barrier under the system, which is what keeps a floor from lifting and peeling.
Concrete is strong but porous, and it cracks and stains as a result. Coating it puts a stronger, more flexible layer over the top, so damage and staining stop before they reach the slab.
Every Goodyear floor is installed in the same six steps, from grinding the slab to sealing the last coat. The order does not vary and neither does the specification.
We start by mechanically grinding, profiling, and vacuuming the concrete garage floor to ensure the strongest adhesion possible.
No matter the damage, we repair every crack and hole in the garage floor.
We apply a base coat for flake flooring and 100% solids epoxy or primer coat for metallic epoxy.
For flake flooring, we broadcast the polymer flakes to provide even color and texture. For the metallic floor, we apply the metallic color coat. For 100% solids epoxy, we apply the second coat.
For flakes, we scrape off all excess bits to prepare the floor for the final step.
We finish with two coats of UV stable polyaspartic topcoat.
