From the concrete floor preparation to sealing your new epoxy floor, you can rest assured that you are receiving the best epoxy product and customer service in North California. Not to mention your epoxy floor will last for decades to come.
Before applying garage floor epoxy, we need to remove any oil stains, dirt, grime, and old coatings and prepare the concrete for the epoxy. We start by mechanically grinding the concrete until it is smooth and clean.
This process takes a couple of hours, but it is what makes epoxy long-lasting and durable.
If there are any noticeable holes, We take our time to repair them by patching them with an epoxy paste. Any cracks should be filled in with garage epoxy crack filler, which will seal the garage floor and prevent cracks from spreading.
Once all holes and cracks have been patched, we are ready to apply garage floor epoxy.
Once we are happy with the look of the concrete slab, we move on to applying the epoxy garage floor basecoat.
While the epoxy flooring basecoat is wet, we walk over the epoxy and broadcast flake (multi-colored paint chips) onto the floor until we see no more wet epoxy. Then, we leave the epoxy floor to cure.
Once the garage floor basecoat is fully dry, we broom, scrape, and vacuum up the excess flake chips.
We apply two coats of clear sealer to ensure maximum protection against spills and stains. The clear protective coats will also give your new garage flooring a high gloss shine that is easy to clean and something you can be proud of!
