Your driveway and front path are the first thing anyone sees, and on most Avondale houses they are also the hardest worked concrete on the property. Coating them gives you a clean, even surface that will not stain from oil, will not dust onto the porch, and keeps its color in full sun. Every one we lay uses UV stable polyaspartic rather than an epoxy topcoat. ROC 358358, and we are licensed, bonded and insured.
Call (602) 820-7739The obvious thing is how it looks. Bare concrete out front collects oil spots, tire marks and a general gray weathering that no amount of washing lifts back off, because it has soaked in rather than settled on top. A coated drive keeps all of that on the surface, so it comes away. The less obvious thing is dust: an open slab abrades under tires and sheds a fine film that gets walked into the entry and through the house. Sealing the concrete stops that at the source.
You also get to choose how the front of the house reads. The color layer can be worked to sit with the render, the roof and whatever is planted along the drive rather than picked off a chart, and a light textured finish keeps the path comfortable to walk barefoot from the car in July. It is one of the few improvements out front that people notice straight away and that also makes the space easier to keep. If you are unsure what will suit the front of the house, we bring samples and look at them against the render in daylight, which tells you far more than a chart will. There is a full explanation of what goes into an exterior concrete build on our Phoenix page.

This is the question we are asked most about front concrete, and the answer is better than people expect. A polyaspartic build goes down in a day, so a driveway costs you one afternoon without the car rather than a week of parking on the road. You get the return to use time at the quote rather than on the day, so it can be planned around. You get a clean, even drive back at the end of it that stays easy to look after. Three stages on every exterior concrete coating in Avondale, AZ, and the first one decides the other two.
We mechanically grind, profile and vacuum the concrete with diamond tooling, which takes off the weathered top layer along with any old sealer. Exterior slabs almost always carry one, and a coating laid over an existing sealer has nothing to bond to. That preparation runs under every interior floor we lay: the four layers of an epoxy floor build, in order.
Cracks, spalled edges and pitted areas are cut out, filled and ground flush. Control joints are honored rather than filled over, so the slab can still move where it was designed to move instead of cracking somewhere new.
Then the system itself: a polyaspartic base, the color layer, and two coats of UV stable polyaspartic over the top, with anti-slip aggregate broadcast in where it was specified. A polyaspartic build goes down in a day, which on a driveway is the difference between one afternoon without the car and a week of it.
